FizzBitz started with a kid who could not stand a toothbrush. Jeff Dakin's son has sensory sensitivities, and every night brushing was a battle. Jeff asked a simple question: what if you could clean your teeth with no toothbrush, no toothpaste, and no water?
He asked his dad.

Forty-plus years practicing dentistry in Wichita, Kansas. Past President of the Kansas Dental Association. And years of dental mission work in Kenya, Liberia, Albania and Kazakhstan, in places where clean water and a toothbrush are luxuries.
That field experience shaped the formula: an effervescent tablet, built from plant essences, that cleans with nothing but your own saliva. Twelve years of iteration later, it became FizzBitz.

Jeffrey M. Dakin and Justin L. Rietema each built their own products and took them to the Shark Tank stage. Jeff, a serial entrepreneur and CEO, was featured on ABC's Shark Tank for The Scrubbie. Justin, an engineer with a Master's in Business, was featured for his product Human Bobber.
When they came together with Jeff's father, Dr. Dakin, they saw an opportunity to create something that didn't exist yet: an all-natural way to clean your teeth on the go. No toothbrush. No water. No mess. Just a tablet that works.
